We have been made aware of individuals spreading hate and misinformation regarding indigenous claims to land in BC. We would encourage everyone to keep clear heads, and do research to understand the complex situation of aboriginal title. Aboriginal title and fee simple lands can co-exist.

Decentralized social networks are not going to become mainstream until all the kinks are worked out. I gave Nostr a try and it lacks privacy and security. I tried creating a group chat and got locked out. Bluesky seems more usable, but it's not really decentralized. I think the Fediverse is a good option, but posts are not really federated until you follow someone on your node (old posts are invisible).
